We purchase a wide variety of new and used books for resale purposes, including hardcover and larger paperbacks (not the inexpensive mass-market paperbacks such as those typically sold in grocery stores). We are primarily interested in nonfiction books, but do buy some fiction and children's books, too.
In addition to the new titles we obtain from distributors and publishers, we are interested in buying gently used books that are in Good or better condition. A book in Good condition may show some signs of wear, but its binding will be sound and there will be no missing or torn pages, no stains or odors, and any markings within the book will be minimal.
Our needs change frequently and depend on our existing stock and the needs of our customers. We strongly recommend you review both our Wants List and our list of Books We Do Not Buy.
If we are interested in your books, we promise to make you a fair offer. Our offers are competitive and based on two factors: (1) the expected retail value of the books and (2) their actual condition. Please keep in mind that we intend to re-sell the book(s) we buy, so our offer may not be the same amount you could sell the book for if you choose to market it yourself. We must compete favorably with other booksellers and cover our overhead.
